What is the difference between a "Reservation Fee" and a "Deposit"?
- Reservation fees are partially refundable and charged in order to hold and reserve your unit. We charge a reservation fee because we know boat and RV storage is limited around Lake Martin and we want to ensure you are interested in building a relationship with us just as much as we want to ensure we have a unit ready when you need it. Reservation fees are applied to the first bill you will receive shortly after reserving your unit. Cancelled reservations without an active rental will result in a $50 fee to cover processing and credit card expenses (we will refund your reservation fee minus $50).
- We know accidents happen, so deposits are to make sure we
have an ability to protect our investment and are able to provide a quality
product to everyone who trusts us with their boats and RVs. Deposits are equal
to one month's rent and will be used for any damage or cleaning required upon
move out, as required. If you leave your
unit the way we gave it to you, your deposit will be returned upon moveout and
inspection.
